Ballyvolane seen in attendance at substantial tree blocking the road between the Riverstown Bar and Monkey Maze on Sunday 6th April during Storm Kathleen.

Fire crews from Anglesea St and Ballyvolane dealt with a large number of incidents as a result of Storm Kathleen around the City and County. ~@CorkCityFire X 



Shannon Airport 30th March 2024

JetBlue flight 2220 diverted to Shannon Airport after the crew shut down an engine in flight (following reported compressor stall) on Saturday 30th March. Shannon Airport Fire and Rescue Service were backed up by Clare County Fire and Rescue Service (Shannon & Ennis stations), National Ambulance Service and An Garda Síochána attended the scene. ~Pat Flynn

Kalitta Air flight CKS-844 diverted to Shannon Airport with a fire indication which turned out to be a false alarm. Clare County Fire and Rescue Service (Shannon and Ennis); the National Ambulance Service and An Garda Síochána attended in support of Shannon Airport's Fire and Rescue Service on Thursday 22nd February. ~Pat Flynn
