On Monday 30th April Dublin Fire Brigade Breathing Apparatus teams rescued a person from a domestic house fire in Kimmage, Dublin. It is believed the fire was as a result of an explosion. County Louth 19th March 2018

Image:

Fire has caused major damage to Foley's tearooms on Main St in Castlebellingham. The alarm was raised at around 09.30hrs and units of the fire service from Ardee, Carlingford, Dundalk, Drogheda and Dunleer attended the scene. The fire on the tatched roof at this stage was well alight and Firefighters battled to save it. Fire Crews remained on scene throughout the day working on hotspots

A family had a lucky escape after their car caught fire at a McDonalds outlet on the Heborn Rd in Kilkenny City on Saturday 23rd December. Six units of the fire service from Kilkenny City, Freshford and Callan attended the incident. There where no reports of any injuries from the scene.

Mountmellick Fire Station was also hit by flooding following the heavy overnight rain. Fire Crews throughout Laois were busy dealing with flood related calls including Mountmellick.

Scene from a bus fire on the M7 Motorway just before J19. The Motorway had to be closed for a peroid of time due to very bad visibilty caused by smoke coming from the fire. Smoke made its way into a nearby apartment complex and filling some corridors with smoke. Fire alarm activated and residents evacuated. Delta 231 and Delta 131 in attendance, 131's fan was used to clear the smoke

Scene of a large fire in an apartment block in Verdemont off the Snugborough Road in Blanchardstown on Wednesday 10th May. A number of units have been substantially damaged by the fire.

6 pumps, a Turntable Ladder, a command support vehicle, 2 District Officers and a drone attended the scene. Initially a number of ambulances were dispatched including our Advanced Paramedic vehicle.
